Yoga For Me (YFM) training will help you gain a command of yoga while incorporating a new path of growth on your yoga practice. YFM will afford you the opportunity to deepen your personal practice, challenge yourself physically and mentally as you have never done before.  Upon completion, you will have the foundation to grow into a more complete yogi.  All aspects of a yogic lifestyle as well as alignment of poses will be covered in detail.

You will:

• Attain tools to strengthen your yoga postures, improve your alignment & learn how to use these skills in your life.
• Delve deeper into yoga philosophy and what a yogic lifestyle encompasses.
• Become part of a supportive community of people on a similar yoga journey.
• Receive encouragement from an experienced yoga teacher/fitness expert.
• Take Your Yoga Practice Farther.

 YFM Training will meet you wherever you are in your practice, whether you've been practicing for 10 days or 10 years. The Yoga Energy Studio’s Yoga For Me is the only studio in Pinellas County that offers a program specifically for the yogi who wants to delve deeper into their practice.

YFM training will meet in small group settings on weekends once or twice a month.  Certain topics will be on an individual basis.  The topics to be covered are:  

Philosophy of Yoga 

Asanas

• When to do asanas and which ones
• Alignment – modifications and counterindications
• Pranayama

Meditation

• Go within and beyond the mind
• Therapeutic thoughts and practices

Ayurveda

• Private Ayurvedic Consultation
• Group Ayurvedic training
• Pros and Cons of Puncha Karma
• Self Puncha Karma

Self-Balancing

• Meridians (Nadis)
• Chakras

Rejuvination

• Rejuvination Therapy (Rasayana)
• Eating for Rejuvination
• Gem Therapy

YFM Training will be an experience of a lifetime that will make you more confident in your practice and your life.  You will carry this knowledge with you forever and boost your confidence. 

To earn a YFM certificate students must attend every weekend, plus do an essay on your personal reflections on how you and your practice improved because of YFY Training. 

The YFM hours can be used toward Yoga Alliance CEUs.  Some of these hours may be applied towards becoming a 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher.  Prior yoga teacher training is not required to take part in this series.

For admission, complete the Application Form and submit with payment of $500 payable to Yoga Energy Studio and send to YES, 1010 Central Ave #102, St. Petersburg FL 33705.  We will set up an interview and answer any questions you may have.

REFUND POLICY:  There are no refunds on deposits.  Full payment is due two weeks prior to start of training.   All Payments are non-refundable.  If we cancel the program you will receive a full refund.
