Tim is a Certified Fitness Professional and a Registered Yoga Teacher. Tim is the people's choice for BEST OF THE BAY Personal Trainer. He was identified as one of the top 100 most educated fitness experts in the nation by Phil Kaplan, World Renown Trainer of the Trainers; and by Crunch Fitness to be in the top 20% of the most educated trainers.

Certifications held by: International Sports Sciences Association; National Alliance of Fitness Professionals and American Institute of Fitness Educators. Certifications/training include personal training, exercise for the older adult; active isolated stretching; functional training; yoga; Gravity GTS System, Exo-Skeletal Trainer; nutrition specialist; boot camp training; SWAT; Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master and Therapeutic Touch practitioner.

All the certifications in the world do not mean a thing if the trainer cannot apply his knowledge to his clients. This is where Tim sets himself apart and adds the most value as your trainer. Tim has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and opened his Fitness Studios on the belief that the best way to achieve total body fitness was through an integrated approach that worked the whole body at the same time. That is why Tim has developed Strength & Movement FitnessTM  and Strength & Movement TrainingTM.  His revolutionary series of movements increases strength, builds stamina and improves flexibility. Tim realized that traditional training routines usually become mind-and soul-numbing; So, he incorporated his knowledge to form this multi-discipline program that is fun, challenging - and actually works.

Tim wants to make a difference in people's life by educating them in a healthy lifestyle to include exercise, nutrition and the importance of "enjoying life".

Tim likes to keep up to date on the latest fitness techniques, so he attends several fitness conferences every year to enhance his knowledge and experience. Because of this he can provide the newest and latest information to his clientele. Tim continues to challenge and invigorate clients with ever changing workout regimes. You never know what challenge he will have for you - one day it is working in the studio, the next day you will be on the water kayaking - with the kayak as your equipment and then boot camp training on an island.

Tim has been an avid Kayaker since 1979 and has guided numerous kayaking tours around Florida. Tim started Beach Adventures which is a company offering "fitness vacations", including Kayaking Eco trips. In 1998, Tim created two new Kayak fitness regimes: KayakerciseTM- where you use the kayak to do upper body workout while kayaking to an island where you do "boot camp" fitness training; and KaYogaTM where you kayak to an island and do yoga on the beautiful beaches of the island. Tim has been an avid Kayaker and is continually upgrading and learning all the new techniques and equipment kayaking has to offer to bring to his clients.

Tim is a long-term fitness expert. He is dedicated to his clients and helping them achieve their goals and a healthy lifestyle. He brings to his clients a holistic fitness expertise by providing mind and body programs blended with traditional (and untraditional) workout sessions that address the critical relationship between the mind and body. Tim is committed to being a true fitness professional and provides the best quality of ervice to his clients.

KAREN GANLEY

CERTIFIED FITNESS EXPERT

Karen has been in the fitness industry for 10 years.  She is a Certified Trainer and has been trained by Tim in Strength & Movement as well as Kayaking.  She brings a wide range of knowledge in her training and truly enjoys helping people reach their fitness goals.  She has overcome the flare-ups of Lupus using the Strength & Movement method as well as following the nutritional guidelines of the program.  Proving that exercise and eating healthy is truly a way to be fit and healthy.  Karen is also our "Crystal Lady" and loves sharing her knowledge of crystals.

 

BRIAN ARMENDINGER
CERTIFIED FITNESS EXPERT

Brian Armendinger is a native to the Tampa Bay area. He is a Certified Personal Trainer and is currently pursuing his degree in personal training. He is dedicated to living a healthy and holistic lifestyle, and shows passion when he is training with his clients. Brian will provide you with an interdisciplinary fitness regime that will meet all your fitness needs. Whether you are new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, Brian will challenge you and help you perform better than you ever have before.

EIRIK KYDLAND 

C.H.E.K Practioner Level III

Eirik is a C.H.E.K Practioner Level III, Certified Golf Biomechanic Specialist and a Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level II.  Eirik specializes in corrective exercise for injury prevention and rehabilitation, sports specific conditioning, and overall health.  In addition to working one-on-one with clients, he is the Strength & Conditioning Consultant to the St. John-Clark Pain Treatment Center and a teaching assistant for the Neurosomatic Educators.  This diverse, multi-disciplinary approach to conditioning enables Eirik to develop comprehensive training programs with measurable results.

DEBI SCHUTTE
CERTIFIED IN OLDER FITNESS

Debi is a Certified Personal trainer with the International Sports Sciences Association and is certified by The American Institute of Fitness Educators in Older Adult Fitness.

Debi is an inspiration to our clients. Debi came to us as an out of shape client. She embraced the exercise and eating plan Tim developed for her, and today is in shape, at a healthy weight and self-confident.

Debi's clients include our older adult's. She tells everyone "you are never too old to become younger." One of her clients just turned 100. Debi has been training her since age 92. She has helped her balance, strength and flexibility so much that recently when the client tripped and fell, she did not hurt herself. Her clients love her enthusiasm and look forward to exercising and "staying young"
